Sulzer Improv Club

  • Sulzer Regional, Chicago Public Library Branch 4455 North Lincoln Avenue Chicago, IL, 60625 United States (map)

Join us at Sulzer for a five week improv theater program. Find characters, build environments and create scenes from scratch. Be a part of an ensemble. Have fun!

We will will meet once a week to learn and practice improv games, techniques and skills. Week five will be a performance for friends and family at Bughouse Theater, a nearby non-profit improv venue. There is no experience necessary, but please note that each session will build on the previous one. Registration for this program assumes a commitment to all five weeks.

JAHHM enhanced CPL's free drop-in programs with activities grounded in the social reform history and storytelling activities of Hull-House including bookbinding, zine making, art making, improvisation, and theater arts. Drawing from professional development workshops led by Hull-House collaborators, CPL developed programs across the city that enable people to express themselves.

For rising 4th through 7th graders.
