Unfinished Business: The Right to Play

This exhibition closed in July 2015, but you can visit the exhibition website.

Unfinished Business: The Right to Play explores the history of the social movements that created the first playgrounds, fought for an eight-hour workday, and suggested that time off from work could create a more just society.

Explore multi-media components of the exhibition on this site and stop by Hull-House to swing and play hopscotch in the gallery, listen to records of labor songs, and immerse yourself in the questions of work and pleasure that the exhibition raises.
