As part of Open House Chicago, Hull-House will be open all weekend for exploration and special activations. Hull-House staff will be on-site to answer questions about the building’s history and construction, and Artist Regin Igloria will offer a bookbinding workshop in homage to Hull-House’s co-founder Ellen Gates Starr’s history bookbindery. Visitors will also be encouraged to contribute to a Hull-House communal loom. 

Open House Chicago is a free annual festival hosted by the Chicago Architecture Center that offers behind-the-scenes access to buildings of architectural, cultural and historical significance.
